Importance of Air Circulation
Importance of Air Circulation:

Fan assisted air circulation is an important consideration when designing an oven for any given application. A well designed air distribution and return air ductwork system with airflow dampers will ensure a close and consistent temperature profile within the oven chamber, therebye giving consistent quality results to your products.

Depending on how the work is positioned within the oven chamber, the airflow will need to be designed to provide even heating to the product.

For best results on any given application we would generally choose from the following types of airflow.

"Combination Horizontal/Vertical" bottom horizontal then vertical to top, rising up and over the workpiece, generally used in box ovens of all sizes.

"Horizontal" across the oven chamber, generally used where racks or shelves are present.

"Vertical" bottom to top, rising up and over the workpiece, generally used in conveyorised ovens of any type.

"Vertical" top to bottom, circulating over the workpiece, generally used in very large box ovens housing large components such as car body shells.
